Here’s my most wanted features that Performace Center doesn’t currently have:
1) Easy upgradeability. PC servers, ALM, PC Hosts, Sitescope, all have to be upgraded individually for each patch making the upgrade process very expensive and time consuming. Cloud offerings look more and more attractive due to the pain of this upgrade procedure.
2) Better configurablitiy for Monitoring. Currently users can’t configure the user account for Windows based monitoring if they are using Monitor Profiles.
3) Better Error Handling. When a host fails, the tools needs to be more intelligent in replacing systems with issues. When there version discrepancies, the messaging should be clear and summarized.
4)CA APM Integration.
5)Better Linux Support for Monitoring. I shouldn’t have to use SiteScope due to deficiencies in PC to monitor hosts.
6)Smarter Analysis. More AI please for identification of common performance issues and bottlenecks.
